A hub for achievement.

Welcome to Aston University Sixth Form; a hub for achievement, opportunity and experiences within the science and engineering fields.

I am very proud of the Sixth Form at AUEA. In 2017, 92% of our Year 13 students proceeded onto science or engineering university courses or apprenticeships. This is a testament to the quality of sixth form teaching alongside the numerous industrial opportunities our students receive; thus giving them a head start into their future careers.

I am confident that our state of the art science and engineering facilities coupled with the BTEC and A Level options will provide our students with personalised pathways to achieve their aspirations. Alongside this, our strong industry links cannot be overlooked and is part of ‘what makes AUEA different’. Aston University Sixth Form students have a plethora of opportunities to work with partners such as Jaguar Landrover, Rolls Royce, RAF and many more.

Enrichment activities combined with academic excellence is a recipe for success and Aston University see this as paramount to life at our Sixth Form. We encourage all of our students to take part in enrichment activities such as projects, sports and STEM competitions. Not only do these activities help to mould our students into well rounded citizens but also encourages a sense of pride and belonging within the Sixth Form.

Finally, myself and AUEA are committed to supporting every student that pursues their studies with us and I am confident that together, we will nurture our students into becoming highly successful STEM professionals.

I look forward to working with you in the next academic year.
