Safeguarding Statement.

Safeguarding at Aston University Engineering Academy and Aston University Sixth Form.

Our UTC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The governing body has a duty of care to pupils and all members of the UTC community.

There is a comprehensive child protection policy in place which, along with a policy for Health and Safety and a Prevent strategy, is regularly reviewed by the Governing body.
