AUEA is a co-educational University Technical College for girls and boys aged 13-19, and admits students in to Year 9 and Year 12 each year.

Although formally students were able to apply direct to join Year 10 , AUEA's entry point has been changed by the Secretary of State for Education to those wishing to apply to join Year 9.

Like any school, places sometimes become available within a year group.  You may apply using the online registration below to place your child's name on our IN-YEAR waiting list for September 2020.

In the summer term, any additional places in the current year 9 / future year 10 will be reviewed and offers made.

It is expected that ALL applicants for entry to Year 10 believe that specialist engineering focused education in a University Technical College is most appropriate to their child’s needs, and that they support the distinctive ethos, policies and procedures of AUEA.
